Announcing Sponsorlytix Estimator

Motivation and problem formulation

Sponsorship deals combine heterogeneous inventory (shirt, sleeve, LED, title, hospitality, digital) with uncertain delivery (on-pitch success, broadcast mix, social virality). Buyers and sellers need a workspace that (1) encodes deal structure, (2) pulls live measurement signals where available, (3) stress-tests assumptions, and (4) emits artifacts finance and rights stakeholders can audit.

We formulate Estimator as auditable pre-investment valuation: map a proposed deal to measurable asset classes, bind assumptions explicitly, estimate value ranges, and export a reviewable trail. It is not a substitute for legal contracting, and it does not invent delivery guarantees.

System architecture

Announced capabilities: Deal Valuation; Pre-Invest ROI; Custom Workspaces; Live Data Access; Auditable Reports. Positioning copy describes “a customizable sports workspace that integrates common tools, produces auditable artifacts, and offers flexible live data access.” Timing note: Sponsorlytix LinkedIn communications on 16 June 2026 described a Dashboard 2.0 backend rewrite and teased a then-unnamed new product; Estimator’s 30 June announcement aligns with that window without requiring us to over-claim continuity of every backend detail.

Estimator consumes the same sponsorship measurement worldview as Sponsorlytix (factorized exposure → brand value). The workspace boundary is commercial configuration and auditability, not a second detector stack.

Not an Estimator output. Elsewhere in that same case study, combined sponsor brand value ($751M) and sponsor ROI percentages (including 4.9k% / 345%) are Sponsorlytix media-value estimates, not contract value or cash return.

Data and methods

Inputs: deal sheet fields (assets, term, territory, exclusivity), assumption registers (viewership priors, clarity discounts, delivery scenarios), and optional live binds to Sponsorlytix measurement where the client has coverage. Outputs: valuation summaries, scenario tables, and exportable audit artifacts. We do not publish a public pricing grid or screenshot gallery specific to Estimator in this article.

Limitations and failure modes

  • Garbage-in valuations: optimistic viewership priors dominate outputs; audit artifacts must show priors plainly.
  • Overlap ambiguity with Sponsorlytix “Pre-Invest ROI Tool” and “Customized Reports” — Estimator is the workspace branding; feature boundaries may still look continuous to users.
  • No public screenshots/docs dedicated solely to Estimator at announcement time.
  • Not a market-price oracle: negotiated prices reflect bargaining power, not only measured exposure.

Safety and responsible use

Valuation tools can be misused to overstate delivery in pitch materials. We recommend exporting assumption registers alongside headlines, separating measured history from forward scenarios, and keeping legal/commercial review outside the model.

What’s next / availability

Estimator is available in the Sponsorlytix product family at sponsorlytix.ai. Teams evaluating inventory — clubs, brands, agencies, rights holders — should treat measurement history (including published case studies) as inputs, not as automatic deal quotes.

Appendix — glossary

Auditable artifact. An export that preserves assumptions, inputs, and calculation path for review.

Pre-invest ROI. Forward-looking return framing before capital and inventory commitment.

Live bind. Connecting a workspace scenario to current measurement signals.
