Motivation and problem formulation

Sports communications teams face a fragmented attention market: match coverage, transfer rumours, crisis spikes, sponsor mentions, and competitor narratives move across languages and platforms faster than a manual clip desk can reconcile. Classical media monitoring often stops at keyword hits and advertising-value-equivalency (AVE) lookalikes that ignore competitive SoV and sentiment dynamics.

We formulate the task as sports media intelligence: continuously ingest multilingual sports media, attribute entities (clubs, athletes, brands, competitions), estimate share of voice against a defined competitor set, attach media-value / AVE-style estimates where appropriate, and package partner-ready reports. Adjacent Dantani services (Sports PR, TV rights distribution, esports PR) sit around the AI layer but are not claimed as the same SKU.

System architecture

The March 2025 dashboard launch established the primary client surface. Subsequent public updates (notably May 2026 LinkedIn communications) describe enhancements around social listening, SoV, competitor benchmarking across Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok and related networks, instant presentation-ready reports, a client credit system, GPU-accelerated compute, and predictive analysis models. A “Live Intelligence System” was described as in development in May 2026; we do not treat that name as a confirmed separate shipped SKU in this article. Dantani Terminal (live pulse feeds, desk & map views, rumour tracking, window briefings) is adjacent to the same media-ops desk problem and is coming soon — details remain sealed until launch; it is not yet generally available.

Data and methods

Inputs span print, digital, TV news, radio/podcast, and social platforms. Multilingual coverage is marketed at 160+ languages. Entity linking and competitor sets are configured per client. Outputs include dashboards, SoV comparisons, media valuation / AVE, sentiment views, and partner report packs. We do not publish a public developer API for the monitoring stack in this article, and app.dantaniinc.com has historically been the linked Client Login / Terminal target.

Case materials note. Several PDFs under Resources (e.g. Crisis Reputation on X, Women’s Football and the Media, Transfer News, Ford Middle East PR, President Jair Bolsonaro) are image-heavy; text extraction failed or returned empty pages in our build environment. We cite those studies by title where numeric extraction is out of scope for this article. Extractable tournament economics from Sponsorlytix-adjacent PDFs (FIFA World Cup 2026 projected >$5B host economic impact; 40,000+ roles) are useful market context for why multilingual media intelligence matters at mega-event scale, but they are not Dantani accuracy scores.

Limitations and failure modes

  • Keyword bleed across similarly named athletes, academies, and non-sports entities.
  • AVE is a proxy, not causal ROI; we treat media value as decision support, not accounting truth.
  • Platform API and ToS changes can alter social coverage completeness overnight.
  • Crisis content may include unverified allegations; dashboards should not be mistaken for legal fact-finding.
  • Terminal availability — Dantani Terminal is coming soon and not yet generally available; treat Client Login links as the intended path for the live dashboard, not a public Terminal demo.

Safety and responsible use

Media intelligence products can amplify harm if used to target individuals or launder unverified rumour as fact. We encourage desk policies that separate monitoring from publication decisions, especially around minors in youth sport, medical information, and crisis spikes. Multilingual models can mis-attribute sentiment across dialects; human review remains required for high-stakes PR.

What’s next / availability

The Dantani Sports dashboard remains the primary marketing and client surface at dantaniinc.com. Dantani Terminal is coming soon (details sealed; not yet generally available), consistent with the 26 September 2026 announcement. Roadmap communications around Live Intelligence continue; we will document ship confirmation under clear product names rather than conflating announcements.

SoV (Share of Voice). Relative mention volume for an entity within a defined competitor and channel set.

AVE. Advertising value equivalency — a media-value proxy, not measured sales lift.
